Overview of the Role:
The role of the Student Recruitment Officer is to drive student recruitment within Iron Mill College. This role is focussed on sales - meeting and exceeding student recruitment targets, building PR and networking opportunities and working collaboratively with marketing to develop and implement campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving sales of the college courses
- First point of contact for course enquiries
- Leads management via CRM
- Convert face-to-face, telephone and online enquiries into admissions and enrolments, to meet or exceed targets
- Manage Iron Mill College enquiries and the enquiry/admissions process including assisting applicants with the completion of online bookings; addressing and resolving any issues they might have; and ensuring an excellent customer journey
- Deliver progression talks to existing students
- Work with the marketing lead and in establishing clear sales objectives and targets for each academic year
- Implement regular outgoing sales, telemarketing, e-marketing and direct mail campaigns in collaboration with marketing
- Identify and build relationships with an external network of key influencers and organisations that can provide a conduit for student referrals
- Develop and implement a sales plan for the growth of bespoke training contracts
- Action any student feedback relating to recruitment, to feed into the continuous improvement of the college
Engagement in PR activity
- In collaboration with marketing, identify, plan, and engage in profile-raising PR activities to raise brand awareness and develop leads for new business and partnerships.
- Represent IMC at functions as required, including open days/evenings, public meetings, and similar events.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and values across all touchpoints, ensuring consistent customer and consumer messaging.
Analysis and Reporting
- Produce a weekly Sales report for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
- Produce clear analytical reports on enquiry trends, topics, demographics etc. to inform marketing budget spend decisions and optimise sales.
- Apply research and analytic skills to provide ongoing insight into student recruitment in the field of Counselling & Psychotherapy Administration
- Ensure complete and accurate recording of all enquiries data including clear records for Data Protection and mailing lists.
- Manage own time to ensure deadlines are met and workload is prioritised as directed.
General
- Be an ambassador for IMC, its vision and mission, and provide an excellent experience to all staff, users, clients, and visitors
