Acorn Business Park is situated off Ling Road, close to the Tower Park leisure complex, which lies approximately 3 miles to the north of Poole town centre and 5 miles to the west of Bournemouth town centre. Easily accessible to the Dorset Way (A3049)
dual carriageway providing direct links to Dorchester to the west and Ringwood, Southampton and the National Motorway network to the east. As you turn into the business park, take the first turn right. There are 12 parking spaces for use of staff, blue badge and students.
Location and Transport
Iron Mill College in Poole is 3 - 4 miles from Poole town centre, close to Bournemouth and has been open for ten years. Acorn Business Park is accessed from Ling Road, at the rear of the Tower Park leisure complex, and near the roundabout next to McDonalds.
If you are coming up Ling Road from the McDonald's roundabout, Acorn Park is the first turning on the right. If you are coming down Ling Road from Mannings Heath Road, Acorn Park is the fourth turning on the left. After turning off Ling Road into Acorn Park,take the first road on the right. Iron Mill College is located in Unit C, on the lower ground. Our counselling college is located close to Bournemouth for those who live in the area and don't mind a short commute.
Public transport: Morebus runs from Poole/Bournemouth/Ringwood to Tesco Tower Park and Ringwood Road. The stop on Ringwood Road is Old Wareham Road near Halfords and a short walk via St Georges Avenue.

Car parking: We have 12 allocated parking spaces at the venue for use of staff, blue badge and students. There is additional parking available free of charge in the nearby Tower Park leisure complex.
Cycling: Bike racks are available directly outside the venue in the car park.
Facilities
Facilities: Our Poole venue offers a range of facilities for students. There is a kitchen / lunch room with free tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Students also have access to a library, computer access and enjoy free WIFI throughout the building. There is also access to communal green space outside, with a picnic table and benches. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer childcare facilities.
Disabled access: Our venue in Poole offers level access from the car park and a fully accessible toilet.
