Image of Mandy Colwill After first training and then working in the field of art and design, Mandy went on to begin studying counselling in 1999 and hasn't looked back since.

Working firstly within an art college counselling service, she then moved on to work within GP surgeries providing Primary Care Counselling and building her own private practice. 

Mandy is a founder counsellor and former director of Counsellor's Southwest, a community interest company who now provide counselling to 31 surgeries in Devon and has also expanded her supervision practice.

Mandy works as a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and believes that the therapist's approach should fit the needs of the client. She is also passionate about working creatively and feels that these approaches provide huge potential for transformative therapy. Her qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling, a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Studies (counselling) and a Certificate in Supervision.

Qualifications: BA (Hons), Adv Dip, PG Dip, Cert Supervision, Reg. MBACP (Accred.).

Role: Lecturer on the Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
