Positive People Programme with Iron Mill College

The Positive People programme in Devon seeks to help anyone who is 25 years or older and is not currently in work.  There is a range of support available. Positive People does not just help people back into employment.

Positive People exists to help people who may have been away from the job market for some time. The transition back into employment can be a big step. We are here to help you take smaller steps, towards the job market.

Everyone is different. Many people will have goals and aspirations, often with barriers that are preventing them from moving forward. For some it could be being supported with a suitable training course and taking part in some CV writing and interview workshops. Others may have had to manage a mental health condition and need to rebuild their confidence. Being with other people, in a group environment is a huge challenge for them. We can help with all these things.

Whether you are a mum or dad who has been raising kids, or you have been caring for a family member and are starting to think about your future. We can help you.

The first step is to get in touch to see what your options are. You can also visit https://pluss.org.uk/news/ to see lots of stories about people have been helped on the Positive People programme.

This programme is available for our Certificate in Counselling, Advanced Diploma and FdA Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling courses. Please contact amanda.murrell@ironmill.co.uk if you are ‘technically economically inactive and over the age of 25’ and interested in taking one of our qualifying courses.
