Taster Day Website Image Experience what it's like to be a student at Iron Mill College at one of our Taster Days.

Our Taster Day events are open to all and will give you the chance to get a feel for our college, meet a tutor and experience elements of the course before applying.

Interactive and fun, our Taster Days are a fantastic way to take part in the creative and inspiring teaching the college prides itself on. You will be immersed in our unique learning environment that we offer to all our students. This a great opportunity to meet some of our highly experienced tutors and ask any questions you have about our courses or potential future pathways open to you.

The day is designed to provide you with an introduction to Iron Mill College as a place of learning. You will also be encouraged to reflect upon your own experience and personal awareness. It provides an opportunity for you to begin to build a relationship with our tutors and for you to learn more about us, who we are, and which course could be the right one for you. We usually start with an introductory talk about the ethos of Iron Mill College and a brief discussion about some factors to consider when applying for a course.

The rest of the day is spent in group activities, introducing some key skills and themes, with the opportunity to explore and experience different ways of working. The day ends with a discussion as a group.
