Certificate in Counselling (Quality Checked by NCS)

This popular entry level, part-time counselling course is available to study in either Exeter (Devon), Poole (Dorset) or Whitstable (Kent) over 12 days and
is Quality Checked by the National Counselling Society (NCS).

  • This course replaces both the Level 2 and Level 3 courses offered at other colleges, allowing you to gain your full Certificate on one programme only.
  • There are no pre-requisites for attending this course, which can be undertaken as stand-alone training for those who want to enrich their own personal or professional development.
  • It is helpful to participants in a range of occupational roles, whose primary responsibility is not counselling, but who would benefit from counselling skills.
  • Can also serve as 1st step towards a rewarding career in counselling. On successful completion, students are eligible to apply for our Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling (accredited by BACP) or our Foundation Degree (FdA) in Integrative Counselling (validated by University of Worcester). The Certificate in Counselling course alone, however, does not qualify participants as counsellors.

This course is Quality Checked by the National Counselling Society (NCS):
