This FREE open lecture, available in Whitstable, is aimed at counsellors, psychotherapists and others working in helping professions.

Course Details

 • This FREE talk is part of our Connection, Creativity and Community Programme, highlighting areas of our lives that support good mental health.

• The talk will cover the basics of sleep, why it’s important, some common difficulties and what you can do about it. This will also be linked to accessible therapeutic theory and an emphasis on how good sleep supports good mental health.

• It will be an interactive experience with ample opportunity for questions and discussion, with some ‘take home tips’ for immediate implementation in your own situation.

• This course is for anyone who has an interest in the subject of sleep, either for themselves, their children or in any role supporting those who may struggle with sleeping. Therapists, those working in the health and mental health professions or supporting roles in education. Also parents and those going through life transitions.

Eligibility:

Our CPD workshops are open to anyone who is interested in the subject matter, wants to develop their skills and expand their knowledge. This workshop is particularly aimed at counsellors, psychotherapists and those in helping professions who work therapeutically with others.
